Abstract:
Human resources development will become a serious issue in the next few years. Globalization that brings higher competition among firms needs to he anticipated carefully if the Indonesian target of 7% economic growth would he maintained. Regarding to this issue, it is important to develop human resources in Indonesia in order to increase the national productivity, which in turn will affect the economic growth. Increasing national productivity can he achieved through a modern technology, which will need more skilled labors. This article is focusing on human resources profile in Indonesia, particularly about the changes in human resources profile to anticipate the coming twenty-first century
