Abstract: This paper analysis of raising native chickens farm by introduced the new technology include breeding, housing, feed and feeding, management and prevention of disease. The farmers were initially the trasnmigrants who were selected to provide information of raising native chicken at Kabupaten Pontianak West Kalimantan. Tlie objective of the study was to understand how far the response of the farmers who innovate the technology being introduced and its relation to income generation. The analysis shows that the farmers' income increases as productivity of raising native chickens increase. In addition, the attitude and behavior of the farmers towards the innovative of technology are apparent through the intensive guidance and development of the farmer groups.
