Abstract:
Deshéroïsation strategy, adopted by the anachronism of the authors with mythological dramas of the twentieth-century product of the viewer a surprise, a shock. Synchronizing the legendary past with the present, blurring the barriers of time and space that separate people from ancient times to those of today, the anachronism is an ingenious method for the updating of the myth, but also a way of realize the ambiguity necessary for the adventure of mythic heroes are a universal character, for it to be put in specie aeternitatis. In the dramas "mythical" by J. Cocteau, J. Anouilh, J. Giraudoux, J. P. Sartre and M. Yourcenar, Prometheus and Orpheus, the Atreides and Labdacids again from their own ashes, but they have the mentality of the citizens of the twentiethcentury concerns about the fate of Europe and contemporary events.
