Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is a thorough analysis of the Republic of Moldova legislation and jurisprudence on existing legal and criminal sanctions in cases of domestic violence. By synthesizing the most pressing practical issues in the field of domestic violence from the study undertaken will be presented some conclusions and recommendations of rigor. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Moldova the prevention and combating domestic violence are part of the national policy for the protection and support of the family and is an important public health problem.
