Abstract:
Growth management is a significant process within the company development. The paper aims to identify the key growth factors of tour-operator agencies in Bulgaria. Both paths of factor identification have been applied – academic research of scientific literature as well as an empirical survey carried out among the touroperator agencies in Varna, Dobrich and Burgas in the period of 2005-2007. To accomplish the aims of the research a specific questionnaire has been developed followed by personal interviews with managers/ owners of tour-operator companies. Furthermore a factor analysis has been applied to identify the latent factors of growth.
