Abstract: In the latter half of the 1980s, three noteworthy trends appeared in world economic development. In the 1990s, these trends will be increasingly strong. They are: 1. Economic globalization. International division of labor is developing in depth and world cooperation is becoming ever closer. Economic ties between nations are growing, and globalization of production, management, capital and trade has appeared.
