Abstract: The aim of this work is to define a profile of absolute poverty in Emilia-Romagna during the crisis years, in order to indentify the types of households most likely to find themselves in economic difficulty. Learning about the local peculiarities of a complex and multidimensional phenomenon like poverty is an important starting point for the implementation of targeted interventions able to contrast it effectively.
