Abstract:
Presents promising practices from the state of Maine, which has very high participation rates in the Food Stamp Program, and suggests that bringing the "human" aspect back into the delivery of human services by taking a personal, flexible, and creative approach can facilitate enrollment and retention in the Food Stamp and Medicaid programs.
