Abstract: This report offers a comprehensive picture of the major household appliances market in China, providing trends on household appliances production and consumption, imports and exports, as well as data on the supply structure and company profiles of the major holdings and household appliances manufacturers in China. As far as the products are concerned, the report provides a breakdown by type (refrigerators and freezers, clothes washers, dishwashers and sterilizing cabinets, cooking appliances, hoods, microwave ovens, air conditioners) with estimated market shares for each product, together with an analysis of the main production districts in China. One section is entirely dedicated to the driving forces for demand, breaking down China's demand for household appliances into six different geographical areas. Other factors are considered, such as population and revenues. As for the distribution, reference prices for each household appliance type is analysed. The section is completed with an overview of the major Chinese appliances chains and foreign investments. Moreover, the report includes information on the appliances trade fairs taking place in China and the most important sector's magazines.
