Abstract: This market research provides an overview of the world trade of dishwashers, with data at world-wide level and data on the evolution of appliances trade in 60 countries (selected according to their contribution to international trade of dishwashers). Data on production and consumption in quantity are included for most of the 60 countries. The growth of dishwashers imports and the role of dishwashers exporting countries in the world marketplace are considered. The trade analysis of the opening of dishwashers markets covers seven years, 2000-2006. The world production and consumption of refrigerators and freezers are broken down by country and by developed / emerging countries. The report concludes with trade data in a country format: production and consumption in quantity for the last available year, historical series on dishwashers exports and imports (1999-2006), exports and imports of dishwashers by product in quantity, GDP growth forecast (2007-2008) and some other economic indicators, country rankings to place all statistics in a broad worldwide context. The report provides a picture of opportunities for dishwashers exporters arising from the increasing openness of markets and a rich collection of key country-data, allowing comparisons among specific interest areas.
