Abstract:
Romano Prodi's speech describes the competitive scenario of the European Industry. In particular he analyzes its relations with United States, China, and the Mediterranean countries. He also investigates the impact on the economic and social equilibrium of the European Union of the introduction of the Euro and of the enlargement to the Eastern countries.
