Abstract:
The video game world industry has grown 120 percent since 2013, a rate 1.7 times that of the global economy. It is one of the most important cultural industries in the world, generating more revenue than music and film combined. In a general picture of consolidation, the video game industry is also on the rise in Italy. Consumption is stable even after the COVID boom, but it is mainly the local industry that is on the rise. Thanks to some international successes and the introduction of tax credit, the video game industry is bidding to be the new frontier of Made in Italy.
