Abstract:
In the present study the dynamics and structure of labor transport sector in Mexico is analyzed, specifically the “Drivers transport and mobile machinery” as well as the impact of economic growth on labor demand by categories of workers analyzed this sector according to the Classification of Occupations Unique of Mexican labor sector. The methodology presented is used by Kato, E. (2004) following Sydsaeter, K. and Hammond, P. (1995) to determine the product elasticity of employment for the period 1996-2012, using microdata from National Survey of Income and Expenditure published by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography.
