Abstract:
Greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise and are the main cause of global warming. Which policies are the world’s largest emitters taking to reduce their emissions and are these policies sufficiently ambitious to keep global warming well below 2 °C, preferably 1.5 °C, by the end of this century, in accordance with the Paris Agreement goals? Which countries are on track to translate their ambitions into reality and which still have some catching-up to do?
