Abstract:
The condition of European Union funds in Bulgaria and their impact on the country’s economy over the period 2007 – 2015 have been analyzed. The effects of European Union Cohesion Policy on economic growth, employment and unemployment in Bulgaria have been estimated via ordinary least squares regression of time-series data. The study results imply that in the short run the European funds absorption rate does not affect economic growth, employment and unemployment in Bulgaria.
