Abstract:
The tourism industry is an extremely dynamic and diverse branch of the world economy. Modern tourists have exceptional opportunities to seek out and choose the most attractive and unique destinations that are the embodiment of the impersonal interests and desires. Hunting tourism as part of the tourism industry and at the same time hunting as part of human history is one of the most preferred and traditional industries not only in Bulgaria but also worldwide. Its role in the economic and social development of Bulgaria is of considerable importance due to the significant financial revenues as well as its direct impact on the growing, breeding, conservation and hunting of the game. Account must be taken of the fact that tourists practicing this type of tourism are representatives of that part of the tourist flow, which has significant financial resources and long-distance travel opportunities for long periods of time. The combination of these factors also determines the importance of hunting tourism for the tourism industry in Bulgaria.
