Abstract: For five years the number of non-farming rural families rose up to as many as 57% of all the rural households in 2005. Increasing of the non-farming population in rural areas has been determined by follows important factors: - the inflow of persons who discontinued farming and took up other employment - more widespread education, particularly higher education - a growing number of retired farmers
