Abstract:
Multi-generational living is particularly important in the current socio-political discussion. In this context, the coexistence of the generations is interpreted as a win-win situation and seen as an opportunity how the increasing number of older people can use their potential for younger generations and at the same time receive support from the younger ones. In the meanwhile, there is a wide range of housing available, which adapts to the diversity of life forms and living conditions of the generations. These living concepts are embedded in ideas of neighbourhood design.
