Abstract:
The article deals with problems of contemporary Russian economy and its component - the economic life of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is impossible to overcome the present crisis without its participation and creation of moral grounds of the economic life of the Russian society. The state should provide the Church with the necessary means in order to let the latter perform its social service. Studying the history of traditional religions should be included in the system of modern education on the territory of the Russian Federation. The author is convinced that the development of socioeconomic activities of the Church will strengthen the state power and promote the development of the society as whole.
