On the Effectiveness of National Resources Utilization

Abstract: The authors are of the opinion that in order to answer the question of Russia's resource potential utilization it is necessary to measure national resources, estimate their real size, the degree of their assimilation and effectiveness. Coefficients of resource potential assimilation are considered, which suggest not only its low level but also the absence of corresponding demand. For making specific decisions aimed at increasing the level of resources utilization the authors propose a number of measures.
