Foreign Economic Relations of Russia: Some Lessons from the Global Crisis

Abstract: The article deals with the influence of the global crisis on the Russian foreign economic relations and their effects on the national economy. The crisis has made it evident that it is necessary to change the character of Russia's participation in the world division of labor. Russian export should rise on the base of development of the manufacturing industry. Also cardinal improvement of the investment climate and certain correction in the rouble exchange rate management are needed.
