Fundamental Mathematical and Cultural Aspects of Informatics at Schools

Abstract: Informatics was introduced in schools about 20 years ago. Its curriculum still remains the most volatile out of all school subjects. The article considers the mathematical component of school informatics today, over the course of its development and in the nearest future. The article shows the fundamental importance of this mathematical component in Russian school education.
