Education of children with special needs in Samara Region: On the path to the integration

Abstract: The article presents the experience of Samara region in forming an education system in which children with special needs can realize their rights to accessible and quality education, to the choice of an educational institution, and to the choice of the form of education. The article discusses the problems that have been encountered and how they can be overcome, and describes the first results of the new system.
