Abstract:
In this article, some of the most important research issues and developments in economic competitiveness as the process and multidimensional concept have been studied. The ‘competitive enterprise’ has been defined and it was shown that the profit is of secondary importance compared with the competitive ability. There were researched certain components of the enterprise’s competitiveness: competitiveness of a market supply; competitiveness of the potential (resources) of an enterprise; management competitiveness; competitiveness of a managerial idea. The author argues that the effectiveness of the entrepreneurial activity, as a rule, remains the factor with the highest contribution to ensuring, maintaining and increasing of the entrepreneurial competitiveness.
