Abstract:
The main problematic sides of Ukraine's economy and the reasons for the current situation on the national market are presented. The list and a short description of the national priority branches were identified and reviewed. The essence of investment and innovation processes in the country, their distinctive features and characteristics of present-day development were considered. A proper progressive development of the country was found to take into account both market self-regulation mechanisms and factors which are subject to regulation by the competent authorities. The national economy is found to be in crisis and require recovery by providing innovation and investment activity whose effectiveness should be monitored not only at specific companies, but by national legislation as well.
