National Institute UK Economic Outlook, 2021, issue 1, 4

Abstract: The resurgence of Covid-19 has led to a downward revision in our growth forecasts for 2021 from 5.9 per cent to 3.4 per cent following a contraction of 9.9 per cent in 2020. Early indications are that the lockdown in the first quarter is having a larger impact on activity than in November, but a smaller impact than the spring lockdown.
