Abstract:
In the past two years, Romania has once again experienced high inflation. Initially, it appeared as if the inflation was temporary and caused exclusively by external factors, such as tensions in the international raw materials market and supply difficulties. Subsequently, it was found that inflation is persistent and fuelled by internal factors, which have an effect not only on the demand, but also on the supply.
