Abstract: There are some theory of planning approach that is people oriented, practical & pragmatic and planning by process. SWOT analysis is the one of classical strategc planning. This paper try to analize Pasar Raya Padang parking area planning with applying SWOT analysis. In this paper is analized what strategic is the best strategy to apply in planning Pasar Raya Padang area parking. The result of this analysis is Pasar Raya padang planning strategy is people oriented planning approach. The best strategy in Pasar Raya Padang Parking Area planning is S-O strategy. In the strategy is used strengt to optimalizing the opportunity.
