The emerging market economy of Vietnam, a $135 billion economy with 90 million people, has been undergoing a major crisis – output growth has declined to the lowest point in many years, liquidity crunch problems have worsened, and bankruptcy and unemployment statistics have continued rising (see also Vuong, 2012)
