Abstract: MLM or multi-level marketing is a marketing system that utilizes customers is a distribution network,and is a marketing system that is used by giving bonuses to consumers or customers so that they can be directly involved as sellers and can gain profits from the partnership line.Strategy this is very popular because it supports accessto modern social networks.However,in its development,commercial fraud has emerged under the guise of MLM,thus tarnishing the image of the MLM business in the eyes of the public.As a result,this MLM business often receives a lot of criticism from public opinion.This is because most MLM business people do not yet understand the overall characteristics of the MLM business itself,whether this business c ontains haram elements and whether the marketing system of this business is in accordance with Islamic law or not.Therefore,here we will discuss the clarity of the legal status of MLM activities from an a islamic legal perspective.
