Abstract:
In sociological communication, it is explained that communication is a process of interpreting meaning that is carried out by someone towards information, attitudes, and other people’s behavior in the form of and feelings so that someone makes reactions to information, attitudes. And the behavior is based on the experience he has had. Communication is something that is very natural that we usually experience. And we are not aware of it, giving rise to collective similarities that influence our thinking about communication. Communication states that a thought, a meaning, or a message is shared the same way. Communication as the creation of meaning, a symbolic transactional process that involves people giving meaning. The general interest in communication has grown exponentially in this fast paced worid, we tend to judge people on first impressions, someone can trust us, like us, want to do business with us, and many more after seeing our appearance, from this it can be said that clothing or fashion is a communication activity. Intentionally or not, people who see or interact with us will receive messages and give judgments about the clothes we use, according to allan pease, in his research, it was stated that the role of words only takes place from 7% to 10% of the total impact, sound 20% to 30% of the total impact, while body language can have an affect of 60% to 80% of the total impact. For allan, the way you look, smile, act, and dres can have the most impact on a person. And a person’s appearance would be a much begger and more important representation of how people communicate.
