Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how the procedure for granting credit at PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sumatera Barat Cabang Siteba Padang. In analyzing the data using a qualitative method as a research method that explains descriptively the procedure for granting credit, the results of the study show that the procedure for granting credit must be fulfilled by prospective borrowers with various procedures. The procedure has several stages, the application stage, credit analysis, credit approval, credit decision and credit realization. In granting credit, the procedure given takes a long time in making decisions on credit applications submitted by prospective borrowers.
