Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine how effective the retribution of traders in the Sumbergempol market Tulungagung, this research is descriptive. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection using interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of retribution in the Sumbergempol market is the authority and responsibility of all traders. The results show that currently traders in the Sumbergempol market comply with the payment of levies.
