Abstract: Employee performance can be said as one of the measures of success and the ability of an employee to achieve the goals set by the organization, therefore employee performance in an organization is considered as a very important thing both for employees themselves and for the organization, as a form of efforts to achieve its success. Improved employee performance can be achieved in several ways such as looking at employee job satisfaction, providing motivation, creating a conducive work environment. Strategies are also needed in this to improve employee performance. This study aimed to determine the cause of the decline in employee performance at PT. Prima Larvae in Bandar Lampung. The method used is qualitative. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. It was concluded that based on the results of research conducted at PT. Prima Larvae is a company that pays little attention to existing employee satisfaction, on physical financial factors such as existing work equipment to support existing work so that employee performance is more optimal in their work, then with a work environment where employees feel less clean and less comfortable. As well as financial factors such as salaries where employees are not satisfied with it, employees feel unsatisfied with financial factors due to the increasing needs of employees. Based on this the strategy that can be done to strive to improve performance is the Turn Arround strategy.
