This research uses a phenomenological approach to analyzing. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the observations of researchers in the Kebondalem sub-district, Pemalang sub-district, they saw that most of the people there exchanged roles. The purpose of this research is to find out that it turns out that the exchange of roles between a husband and wife can occur due to environmental influences and the lack of jobs.
