Abstract:
Islam as a universal, integral, and comprehensive system of life has established a complete order for human life. As a way of life, Islam organizes all things related to life, from the simplest things to the most complicated affairs. Both in the aspects of politics, economy, education, art, social, culture, etc. Islam is a perfect religion, which regulates matters relating to the economy. If the economy of a country (national economy) applies the basis of the Qur'an and Hadith as the basis for its application, of course a national economy will run well and be directed according to the rules. However, in reality, not all Muslim countries in the world apply these principles. Furthermore, this article describes how Islamic Economics contributes to national economic development, especially Indonesia as a country with the largest Muslim base in Asia.
