Abstract: Working conditions refer to an individual’s working environment as well as terms and conditions of employment. This covers various aspects, such as working time, task autonomy, pay, career prospects, work-life balance, type of contract, safety and wellbeing. This chapter gives an overview over working conditions in Europe.
