Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the influence of compensation and work environment on work discipline. Furthermore, the analysis was carried out by including work motivation as a mediator. This research design uses descriptive and quantitative research methods. The population of this study was 140 members of the Alobatnic Research Society (ARS) during the first semester of 2023. The sample for this research were members of the Alobatnic Research Society (ARS) during the first semester of 2023. This research used the SEM (structural equation modeling) model with a total of 120 samples. The technique used in this sampling is taking samples using purposive sampling, which is done by taking samples from the population based on certain criteria in the form of members of the Alobatnic Research Society (ARS) during the first semester of 2023. The results of the research are: Compensation and work environment have a positive and insignificant effect on motivation Work; compensation, work environment, and work motivation have a positive and insignificant effect on work motivation; and work motivation is unable to mediate the influence of compensation and work environment on work discipline.
