Abstract:
About the phenomenon of overseas M&A made by emerging market firms, research on the management of post- M&A phase is still limited. To address this problem, in this study, we examined a serial successful overseas M&A cases made by Lenovo, including their background and the resource allocation in the post-M&A phase. In conclusion, in order to create value through overseas M&A, emerging market firms can apply a hybrid management practice, which can solve the dilemma between autonomy and integration.
