Abstract:
Whether the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 1958 or the provisions of recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in bilateral treaties prevail cannot be determined by Article 7 (1) of the New York Convention but by the interpretation of bilateral treaties and intention of the state parties thereof.
