Abstract:
The present study investigates the regeneration performance of a liquid dehumidification system using noncorrosive ionic liquids. Findings indicate that lower dehumidification coil temperatures improve performance, while higher regeneration coil temperatures enhance regeneration efficiency. The ambient air humidity also plays a crucial role, with indoor recirculation providing better results in low moisture conditions. Optimizing the regeneration coil temperature can improve regeneration capacity by up to 69.82%, and using indoor return air can increase regeneration capacity by 42.66%. The study highlights the effectiveness of ionic liquids in dehumidification applications and identifies key factors for optimizing system performance.
