REMEMBERING PAUL MacAVOY IN THE BOARDROOM AND THE CLASSROOM
Ira M. Millstein
Journal of Competition Law and Economics, 2016, vol. 12, issue 3, 443-450
Abstract:
Editor's Note: Ira Millstein was a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP practicing regulatory and antitrust law when, seeking an explanation of the theory of the market to further his knowledge of economics, he reached out to Paul MacAvoy at Yale in the 1970s. What followed was a collaboration on corporate governance in the classroom at Yale and in boardrooms across America.
