Abstract:
Aims to raise awareness of the above which allow for production of local area family and household labour market statisticThe Offi ce for National Statistics hasdeveloped new annual local area datasets called the Annual Population Survey(APS) household data sets. They allowfor production of family and householdlabour market statistics at local areas andfor small subgroups of the populationacross the UK.The aim of this article is to raiseawareness of the APS household datasets. The information is presented in twosections: the initial section describes thekey features of the APS household datasets, while the second section presentssome key results from the data toillustrate the type of analysis that can beproduced.
