Chapter Chapter 21 in Milton Friedman, 2019, pp 361-373 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Friedman’s columns in Newsweek are considered, together with some of his other journalism. There were more than 300 Newsweek columns and the best of them are brilliant explanations of the operation of the market, or the consequences of attempts to interfere with it. It is easy to appreciate the immense public appeal they had, and the standing they gave their author.
