A chapter in International Economic Relations, 1969, pp 89-99 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The future of international economic relations depends to no small extent on the participation in them of the Soviet Union — a country which ranks second as an economic power in the world and moves steadily on the way of progress. Having in mind the programme of the present congress, it seems advisable to concentrate on the problems and prospects of the economic relations between the Soviet Union and the developing and developed countries of the capitalist economic system. It should be borne in mind, however, that for the Soviet economy co-operation with socialist countries is of greater importance.
