The Discussion On Professor Lundberg’S Paper

Douglas Hague

A chapter in Stability and Progress in the World Economy, 1958, pp 227-257 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Professor Maurice Byé (France) made the opening comments. He said: These comments are directed to the latter part of Professor Lundberg’s lecture. They are concerned with the relationship between international stability and internal growth. Must growth be checked for the sake of external stability? Many countries have to face this problem, but it does not concern them alone; it is a serious question in a world of unsatisfied needs.
