Chapter Chapter 24 in The Economics of Education, 1966, pp 591-599 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I am particularly pleased to present a paper on the international financing of educational investment, because, since its last year’s meeting, my institution, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and its affiliate, the International Development Association, have initiated the practical task of financing educational investment in newly developing countries. Some aspects of our experience to date may be of interest.
