Abstract:
Abstract In this paper I mean to do three things: (a) to outline the reasons which may lead a developing country to seek association with the European Economic Community; (b) to analyse briefly the problems which such a country will have to resolve if it is to derive any economic benefits from its association with the European Economic Community; (c) to examine the particular nature of the effort which an associated developing country will have to make in its economy to solve the afore-mentioned problems with respect to its primary sector.
