Abstract:
Abstract In the attempt to create an international economic order conducive of speedy economic growth in the developing countries, much emphasis has been placed on the expansion of world trade, the improvement of the terms of trade of developing countries and the increased flow of capital from rich to poor countries. This emphasis was restated at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and has featured prominently in the post-conference discussions.
