Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to indicate the possible short-term and long-term energy development options open to India in the light of her resources and the trend and pattern of her energy consumption. We concentrate on the macroeconomic choices in respect of the major resource development options and indicate broadly the directions which we feel energy policy ought to take.
